First 42K - lauching April, 2021

I’m so excited to share one of my proudest-ever achievements!

For the past year, I’ve been building my business First 42K in collaboration with my running coaches Jase & DJ! We are all runners with a serious passion for helping others to achieve their first marathon!

It was on this day two years ago (Feb 22, 2019) when I ran my 50th marathon in 50 consecutive days. To a lot of people’s surprise; it was actually day 49 which was my favourite marathon! This is because, on day 49, three of my friends completed their first marathon by my side. To have run with them the entire way and to share all of the emotions that running a marathon brings, made it a day that I will never forget. I remember the giant hug I gave Sarah, Dean & Chris at the end! I remember my cheesy grin, feeling so happy & proud of them.

I felt fulfilled in knowing that through what I was doing, I had given them the confidence to believe that they too could run a marathon.

That feeling stayed with me and it left me hungry to help more people experience their first marathon.

When COVID-19 in 2020, it gave me more time than ever and presented me with an opportunity to create something special.

So I went to my 2 coaches, Jase & DJ with the idea to build First42K. I was never the runner that I am today until I met these guys in September 2018, when I became an ambassador for V&B Athletic. These 2 legends have helped bring so much success & happiness into my life through running & I don’t believe I would have been able to achieve my feats had I not had their support.

I knew that if I wanted to create First 42K, then I would need to get the very best coaches I possibly could to help me deliver the same experience for other runners.
And I didn’t stop there! It takes a holistic approach to run a marathon, so I also included Chloe my Sports Dietician for the nutrition elements, and Kate my Yoga teacher for the yoga and mobility elements of the program. These 2 incredible ladies were super happy to be a part of it, which made me even more excited!

Now here we are 1 year later! It has been a journey and it has honestly killed me being so quiet about it!

I’m extremely confident that I have the right people around me to help anyone run their first marathon! I’m not going to sugarcoat it, it’s going to take hard work from you, but It will be worth it!

Who knows, maybe like me, running a marathon could change your life as well!

I am blessed. I am excited. I am grateful.

First 42K - helping you love running, no matter your running experience.
